THS: Teachers started contacting students with plans for their classes. Students picked up necessary books and some Chromebooks.

TMS: WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

If you have internet access and a device – You are all set!!! Just open your email Monday morning and you are good to go.

No Internet? – Please let your advisory teacher know if you do not have internet access and will be needing a packet. Your packet will be available Monday.

No Computer or device? If you are going to need a Chromebook, you will need to communicate this and you the parent need to sign the form. If you cannot print out the form, you can send an email with your parental approval for your child to have a Chromebook.

BASIN: All students should have their Chromebook and the curriculum that they are continuing from their regular classes.

RUES: All staff met again today to plan next steps. Teachers began calling all parents to check-in on well-being and offer support. Academic learning packets are being prepared for Friday distribution. Continued building disinfecting.

DES: Staff continued generating packets for the upcoming week with specials and SpEd contributing. Grade levels coordinated on potential digital resources and needs for students in their classes.

TES/VES: Today we are meeting in grade-level teams (through digital meetings) to develop aligned K-3 packets to be printed and assembled for home-based learning to start Monday. Teachers are also adding personal pieces to individual packets for students with IEPs, ELL supplements, interventions, etc. In addition, we are adding to our digital resource bank for parents and teachers to be published in the TSD Home-Based Learning Portal. Support staff members are working on disinfecting all toys, soft surfaces, toy containers, etc.

MAINTENANCE: Continued working to clean buildings.

TRANSPORTATION: Today most staff helped sanitize the school building, worked on cleaning and sanitizing spare buses and school vehicles. Performing regular 60-Day inspections of buses.

FOOD SERVICE: TSD’s Food Service distributed about 50 meals today on the first day of this program, which follows similar rules to Free Summer Meals. FREE breakfast and/or lunch is available to anyone aged 1-18 in the community.

To eliminate confusion:

Families must signup online by midnight TONIGHT for tomorrow’s meal pickup. Those who know they will also want free meals on Friday can indicate that on the signup sheet, available on our website (https://tsd401.org/) or at this link: https://tinyurl.com/qr3n7nh

Drive-through pickup is between 11 am and 1 pm daily on the EAST side of the *new* Driggs Elementary, where the buses usually go. Our kitchen crew will bring pre-ordered meals right to the curb.

We are encouraging healthy children to come along with their parents in the car to pick up their food, to help ensure that meals for young ones are reaching them quickly. (Sick kids should always stay home.)

IT- Completing list of technology needs throughout the district, setting up phones for remote work

SPECIAL EDUCATION: Case managers are reaching out to parents to determine how services will continue.
