Tonight we start providing daily updates for all our schools and departments.
THS: Staff has been working on plans for home-based learning. Spring sports have been postponed until at least April 5th.
RUES: Held an all staff meeting to establish communication procedures and prepare academic learning and various student supports. Deep cleaning and disinfecting has begun.
DES: Staff meeting this AM to discuss next steps and plan for the upcoming weeks. Maintenance staff currently cleaning facilities.
TES/VES: Staff meetings in both buildings to develop a plan for planning and prep of academic, health and other supports for students.
Maintenance : We we are disinfecting all classrooms, wiping down everything that the kids can touch sit on on otherwise carry the virus
Transportation- Met with all drivers today. Sanitized the buses and washed off the salt on the outside. Doing regular maintenance.
Food Service: Free meal program, open to anyone aged 1-18 (like Summer Meals) will begin Tuesday, 3/17. Meals will be provided for pickup between 11 am and 1 pm, *only* at Driggs Elementary. Parents must sign up before midnight each day. Link in the comments.
IT- Preparing for grades 6-12 students to be able to check out a district Chromebook if needed.
TEA: President Angela Hoopes attended admin team meeting.
SPED: The Special Education Department met to discuss requirements/expectations for providing services in accordance with IDEA during a school closure.
