THS: Teachers continued plans for classes, and students continued to pick up books and Chromebooks.

TMS: What to Expect For Monday: (This is a repeat of last night’s update; running in case anyone missed this important info.)
** If you have internet access and a device – You are all set!!! Just open your email Monday morning and you are good to go.
** No Internet? Please let your advisory teacher know if you do not have internet access and will be needing a packet. Your packet will be available Monday to pick up from 8-5:30.
** No Computer or device? If you are going to need a Chromebook, you will need to communicate this and you the parent need to sign the form. If you cannot print, you can send an email with your parental approval for your child to have a Chromebook.

BASIN: All students should be set: they now have their Chromebooks and the curriculum that they are continuing from their regular classes.

RUES: Prepping packets for Friday distribution at TES, VES and RUES; held a Staff Meeting; completed parent phone calls.

DES: Most packets for students are completed and staged in the office. Teachers are collaborating on what digital resources may be implemented.

TES/VES: Started our VES and TES lunch/breakfast distribution (parents were texted to signup), helped parents pick up materials, worked on getting packets ready for Friday, fielded parent calls and emails, held an admin meeting, and organized the new VES school office for return.

MAINTENANCE: Custodians are continuing to disinfect, and started to lock up deep-cleaned areas to keep people out.

TRANSPORTATION: Continued to sanitize interiors, wash exteriors, and do regular maintenance.

FOOD SERVICE: Served about 200 free meals for kids (split equally between breakfast and lunch) at the new Driggs Elementary. Sign up on the website (https://tsd401.org/) or at this link: https://tinyurl.com/qr3n7nh

INFORMATION/TECHNOLOGY: Setting up school phones for remote work; those who call may hear a different message than you are used to when calling schools.

DISTRICT: Upcoming special school board meetings regarding the COVID-19 school closures will be held virtually. The first one is Thursday, March 19, at 6 pm; it will be livestreamed on the district’s Facebook page. No public comment will be accepted.
