REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS – SNOW REMOVAL SERVICES 

Teton School District 401, Driggs, ID, is soliciting Requests for Proposals from qualified organizations for professional Snow Removal Services for the 2023-2024 school year. The proposals will include services to clear snow from all below-stated properties using snow plows and/or snow blowers. The service provider will dispatch once snow accumulation reaches 

SCOPE OF SERVICES: SNOW REMOVAL PROPERTY AREAS 

Driggs Elementary School 

  • Front and bus parking lots 
  • Sidewalks all sidewalks including, west fire access and sidewalk between wings. 
  • Deicing pedestrian areas and walkways 

Teton Middle School 

  • North, west, and bus parking lots 
  • Bus road between Driggs Elementary and Teton Middle School 
  • All sidewalks 
  • Deicing pedestrian areas and walkways 

Teton High School 

  • Four big parking lots and behind school 
  • All sidewalks 
  • Deicing pedestrian areas and walkways 

Rendezvous Upper Elementary School 

  • West and south parking lots 
  • Front sidewalk, west and north sidewalk 
  • Deicing pedestrian areas and walkways Tetonia Elementary School 
  • Front parking and back lot 
  • Playground at north and front sidewalk 
  • Deicing pedestrian areas and walkways 

Victor Elementary School 

  • South parking, east bus, and north gravel parking lot 
  • Sidewalks all around including west fire access, sidewalk between two wings. 
  • Deicing pedestrian areas and walkways 

School District Office – Basin High School – Day Care Building

  • North and south parking 
  • Sidewalks all around 
  • Removing/hauling snow offsite to a predetermined location (Limited snow storage at the District Office site) 
  • Deicing pedestrian areas and walkways

SERVICES 

  • Vehicle Area Snow Removal. The service provider will dispatch once the snow accumulation reaches an agreed amount determined by the Maintenance Director. Service fees will be determined according to the bid rate. 
  • Sidewalk/Pedestrian Snow Removal. The service provider will dispatch once the snow accumulation reaches an agreed amount determined by the Maintenance Director. 
  • De-Icing Services. The service provider will dispatch once the snow accumulation reaches an agreed amount determined by the Maintenance Director or may be dispatched for regular deicing needs. 
  • Removing snow off site.  The district office has limited snow storage and loading/removing snow to a predesignated area.

  • 2023-2024 Fiscal Year

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS – ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN SERVICES

Teton School District 401, Driggs, ID, is soliciting Requests for Proposals from qualified organizations for architectural design services for converting an existing 1,675 square foot building into two separate workforce housing units.

PROJECT INFORMATION 

  • Provide a full set of construction drawings to convert an existing building into two (2) workforce housing units.
  • Conditional Use Permit (CUP): Oversee the application and submittal process with the City of Driggs.  Requirements may include:
    • Site plan: Building location, parking, landscaping, and narrative.
  • Site Design Requirements: Obtain the design requirements from the City of Driggs and ensure that the design complies.
  • Building Permit:  Oversee the application and all requirements to obtain a building permit.  Requirements may include:
    • Provide a full set of construction drawings.  Included in the set may require:
      • Structural drawings
      • Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical drawings
      • Civil drawings and other requirements 
  • Coordination with city and utility companies to comply with building code specifications
  • Provide information/services to address questions that may arise from the contractor during the construction phase
  • Completion of preliminary cost estimates 
  • Design completion deadline: March 1, 2024 or a date that is accepted by the TSD 401 school board.
