Basic Philosophy:

Education is personal and individualized.  For education to be truly effective, students must take responsibility for their own learning.  As a classroom teacher, I serve as a guide and facilitator who creates a classroom environment that encourages students to ask questions and seek answers.  A positive educational experience fosters lifelong learning, which is a critical component of successful adulthood.

Classroom Discipline:

Students are expected to come to class prepared and on time.  Students who are not sitting in their seats when the tardy bell rings will be marked tardy.  The classroom environment is one of mutual respect and acceptance.  Any disruption of the educational process will not be tolerated.
